1. Apple's Standard EULA

This app is subject to Apple's Standard EULA: https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/

These Terms provide additional terms and do not override Apple's EULA.

2. Use of the App

SuperFreds is a mobile application that helps users plan, generate, schedule, and publish content ("Threads") to their Threads account using an AI assistant ("Freds").

You agree to use the App in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, and in compliance with Meta's Threads Terms of Use and Community Guidelines when connecting your Threads account and publishing content.

3. Connecting Your Threads Account

To schedule or publish content, you must connect your Threads account to SuperFreds. By connecting your account, you authorize SuperFreds to:

• Access basic profile information needed to identify your account
• Publish content to your Threads account when you explicitly choose to schedule or publish it

You are solely responsible for the content published to your Threads account through the App, whether written by you or generated with AI assistance. You may disconnect your Threads account at any time within the App.

4. AI-Generated Content

SuperFreds uses artificial intelligence to help generate content suggestions, drafts, and ideas based on information you provide.

• AI-generated content is a starting point, not a guarantee of quality, accuracy, or performance.
• You are responsible for reviewing and editing any AI-generated draft before scheduling or publishing it.
• We do not guarantee that AI-generated content will be accurate, original, non-infringing, or free of errors.
• Nothing is published automatically without your review and explicit action to schedule or publish it.

5. Your Content

You retain ownership of the content you write or approve for publishing through SuperFreds ("Your Content"). By using the App, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and transmit Your Content solely as necessary to provide the App's features (e.g. generating drafts, storing conversation history, publishing to Threads).

You are responsible for ensuring Your Content does not violate any applicable law, third-party right, or the Threads Terms of Use.

6. Subscriptions and Purchases

SuperFreds offers subscription plans for access to premium features, managed through the App Store and RevenueCat. Current pricing, billing frequency, and any free trial terms are displayed within the App at the time of purchase.

7. Billing and Auto-Renewal

• Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
• Your account will be charged through your Apple ID account.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription in your device's account settings.

8. Restore Purchases

If you have previously purchased a subscription, you can restore your purchases using the "Restore Purchases" option in the App.

9. Refunds

All purchases are managed by Apple. We do not have access to billing or the ability to issue refunds. For refund requests, please contact Apple Support directly.

10. Changes to Pricing

We may modify subscription pricing in the future. Any changes will not affect your current subscription period and will be communicated in accordance with Apple's policies.

11. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use SuperFreds to:

• Generate or publish content that is illegal, harmful, hateful, or violates the Threads Community Guidelines
• Impersonate any person or entity
• Attempt to abuse, spam, or artificially inflate engagement on Threads
• Interfere with or disrupt the App or its underlying services

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access if we reasonably believe you have violated this section.

12. Fair Use

Access to Freds and the AI features of the App is intended for normal, individual content creation and planning use.

• We reserve the right to impose reasonable limits on AI usage (e.g. number of AI messages, generations, or requests) and on the number of Threads scheduled or published within a given period, whether through in-app limits tied to your subscription plan or through backend rate limiting.
• You agree not to use automated tools, scripts, bots, or any method to access the App or its AI features outside of the normal App interface.
• You agree not to attempt to interfere with, disrupt, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the App, its AI systems, or its underlying infrastructure.
• We reserve the right to throttle, suspend, or terminate access for accounts that we reasonably believe are abusing AI usage, publishing at volumes inconsistent with normal individual use, or otherwise attempting to circumvent these limits.

13. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the App (excluding Your Content) are owned by SuperFreds and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

14. Third-Party Services

The App relies on third-party services, including Meta's Threads API, Supabase, RevenueCat, and AI providers, to operate. Your use of the App is also subject to the applicable terms of these third parties. We are not responsible for the availability, performance, or actions of these third-party services.

15. Limitation of Liability

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from the use or inability to use the App, including any consequences of content generated or published through the App.

16. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the App if these Terms are violated.

17. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date.
